Admission Procedures

Admissions and registration:

Step 1: Visit and Tour

Schedule your tour by contacting our main office at (773)582-4266 or

Step 2: Schedule a Shadow Day (Optional)

  • Schedule after the school visit and tour

  • Students will have the opportunity to meet individually with our principal

  • Students will also have the opportunity to meet with the teacher of their corresponding grade-level

Note: due to COVID pandemic, this step is not possible. Will be option once safe to do so.

Step 3: Complete the Application Packet and submit Application Fee

  • Registration fee:

    • $150 for one student 

    • $50 for every additional student

  • The following documentation will also be needed

    • Child's original birth certificate

    • Copy of baptismal certificate (if applicable)

    • Copy of current immunizations, dental and physical records

    • Your child's most recent report cards and standardized test scores

    • 504/IEP (if applicable)

Step 4: Admission Status Determined

  • Acceptance packets are emailed/emailed

Step 5: Applying for Scholarships (if needed)

Frequently Asked Questions

What age requirements must my student meet to register at Queen of the Universe?

Upon initial registration, parents are required to provide a copy of a child’s birth certificate. In compliance with state law, the following age limitations have been set for admission:

·       3-year-old Pre-School: 3rd birthday on or before September 1.

·       4-year-old Pre-School: 4th birthday on or before September 1.

·       Kindergarten: 5th birthday on or before September 1.

·       1st Grade: 6th birthday on or before September 1.
