Extended Care Program

Queen of the Universe School is pleased to provide an Extended Day Program for families who need to drop off their children before arrival or pick up after dismissal time. Our extended care supervisors provide a safe environment where students complete homework, play games, and/or watch selected movies. During After Care, students are given a snack and may play outdoors on our playground. Extended Day is available Monday through Friday according to the school calendar.

Morning Care Hours   6:45-7:40 am

After Care Hours        3:00-6:00 pm (2:00-6:00 PM on Tuesdays)

All families who wish to participate in Extended Care, must pay a $30.00 registration fee. The morning rate is a flat fee of $4.00/child. The afterschool rate is as follows:

1 child $6.00/hour

2 children $8.00/hour

3 or more children $10/hour

There is a per minute charge for families who pick up after 6:00 PM. Families must be current with their payments in order to participate in Extended Care.

All Extended Care arrangements must be made in advance with the office. Extended Care is located in room 207. Parents should ring the bell at the Hamlin Ave. entrance to enter. Parents must sign student in and out with the Extended Care staff.

Extended Care is not available when school is closed for holidays, or on staff development and Parent-Teacher Conference days. After Care is not available when dismissal is at 11:30 AM.
